Service = Sobriety online meeting now.

Requirement:

• Service Team Member
• 3 months of sobriety.
• Laptop / PC / Mac / Tablet
• Arrive 15 minutes before the online meeting time.
• Assign service co host duties for the online meeting.
• Follow the script that is provided in group google drive.

Role Description:

This is the meeting chair, the online meeting host introduces the guests and shares. They run the meeting from start to end.

1. Calls on newcomer readers / shares.
2. Announces the 7th tradition / Announcements
3. Calls on participants that are raising hands. Center the topic on a solution. from participants that may share some struggling issues. 

Requirement:

• Arrive 15 minutes before the online meeting time.
• Follow the group’s security protocol.
• Trained in all co-host roles.

Role Description:

This is the person claiming the host role for the online meeting. Supports the chairperson as well and the co-host.

1. Co-hosting service members. (Confirming that is them before co-hosting)
2. Checking setting Zoom security settings in 3 different areas (Security, Chat, Participants)
3. Observing co-host roles in case they drop off meetings.
4. Open breakout rooms for the meeting as needed. (Assigning a co-host if needed)
5. Check and adjust settings on meeting when promises are read (Chat, and unmute themselves)

• Follow the group’s security protocol.

Role Description:

This is the person who watches over the meeting security for disruptive participants and any other distractions.

1. Watching overview of the meeting in the gallery view. (front, middle, last pages)
2. Switching video off for any participant being a distracting, moving excessively, no shirt.
3. Removal of any disruptive participants (Offensive backgrounds, offensive profile pictures, drinking or using on camera, naked participants… etc.)
4. Support chairperson and other co-host on request.
5. Monitor the chat for questions, disruptive or inappropriate messages.

• Make sure Chat information is up to date.

Role Description:

Communicate through sending chat announcements information into chat. 

1. Cut & paste chat announcements into main meeting chat.
2. Answering queries from participants.
3. Switching chat settings to everyone when promises are being read.

Role Description:

Share on screen the readings being read, 7th tradition info.

1. Post the readings on screen, 7th tradition and any other info needed on screen.

Role Description:

This person is responsible for keeping time track of shares.

1. Keep track of the 3 minute shares.
2. Using the timer app via zoom app. With the Beep times up sound. 

Requirement:

• Arrive 15 minutes before the online meeting time.

Role Description:

1. Person is greeting participants & newcomers to the meeting.
2. Watching for the participants audio to connect first then greet them.
3. Doesn’t require participants to be co-hosted. 
4. Assigned by the Chair / Host to participants that join early.

Requirement:

• Newcomers with 90 days or less if possible.

(Preferred readers newcomers under 90 days of sobriety or less)

• Being able to read as it is written from the literature that is being read. 

(Not ad libbing or changing pronouns to suit the reader)

Role Description:

Participants read the readings.

1. AA Preamble in the beginning of the meeting.
2. Reading of How it works from page 58 in the Big Book all the way to the a,b,c,.
3. Reading of the tradition of the month short form from 563 in the Big Book.
4. Reading the 9th step promises at the end of the meeting.
5. Reading of the Lord’s prayer at the end of the meeting.
6.  Doesn’t require participants to be co-hosted.  

Requirement:

• Arrive 10 - 15 minutes before the online meeting time.

Role Description:

Person to award the chips milestones at the end of the meeting. 

• Award the chips as described in the chip script.
• Doesn’t require participants to be co-hosted. 
• Script for the virtual awarding chips
